EASTER PART ONE AND EASTER PART TWO

Consisting of only reed based acoustic instruments.  Multiple Harmonicas, accordion and two air reed organs.  A small reed horn was also utilized.   Recorded in the old coal chamber of 2452 Eutaw Place. The chamber tunnel extends around 20 feet underneath the front entrance past the main iron gate entrance.  Once used to store coal in the very cold frigid winters over one hundred years ago.  Fuel for fire.  Both pieces were conceived and recorded during the Easter week 2014.  Easter Part Two was recorded actually on Easter.  Trances healing. Trances uneasy.  All four of us became hypnotized in the cooling darkness.  One ends up crawling on the damp concrete floor moaning...smashing fists grasping harmonicas rhythmically in ritual.
